| Karuseb was born on 30 August 1972 in Okahandja, Namibia. In 1995 he joined the John Muafangejo Centre and in 1996 attended the Tulipamwe International Artists’ workshop/exhibition in Namibia. In the same year he also attended the Thabong International Artists’ workshop/ exhibition in Botswana.1997 saw the artist’s first solo exhibition in Namibia as well as the attendance of a book illustration workshop. |

| In 1998 KK Shiya Karuseb won an award for the illustration of a childrens’ book, and he held a solo exhibition in Norway. In 1999 he attended an international childrens’ book forum/workshop in Italy, and was involved in a Shipayo group exhibition in Namibia. He also attended another Tulipamwe International Artists’ workshop/exhibition. |
