| Ntakiyica Aimé was born in Kayanza, Burundi, in 1960. He studied painting and drawing at the Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Belgium from 1978 to 1985. In 1985 he was awarded a travel bursary to Brazil and Paraguay. He taught at the Academie des Beaux-Arts in Kinshasa, Zaire, from 1985 to 1986. Ntakiyica Aimé has exhibited his work in numerous exhibitions in Burundi and various European countries since 1983. |
