| Berenice Josephine (Berry) Bickle was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, in 1959 and received her arts training at the Durban Institute of Technology and Rhodes University in South Africa. A six-time recipient of the prestigious Zimbabwe Heritage Award, Bickle was commissioned, together with Malangatana Ngwenya to produce a painting for the International Convention of Human Rights in Vienna, Austria. She has exhibited across the globe. Currently, Berry Bickle lives and works in Harare, Zimbabwe. |
