| Special commissions for her artwork (mainly ceramic murals) have been requested by several institutions in London, Saudi Arabia and Baghdad. Her awards and prizes include first prizes for five consecutive years (1973-1978) from the University of Baghdad. |

| She has had wide press coverage from the Arab Press and Media as well as the BBC World Service and writes for several publications. Her artworks can be found in museums and collections world wide eg. British Museum, House of Commons, Baghdad Museum and in the USA. Maysaloun Faraj is presently living in London. |
