| Ann M. Gakere was educated in the United States at the West Los Angeles College and at the El-Camino College, Long Beach, California, from 1993 to 1995. Apart from participating in exhibitions in the US and Kenya, she is also a graphic design consultant, designing web sites and doing interior design for homes and offices, as well as landscaping. She is a portrait artist, and a poet. Her poems have been published by the Goethe Institute in Nairobi, the Kenya Institute of Education in Nairobi, and the National Library of Poetry, US. |
