| Vedant Nanackchand, born in Durban in 1955, is a graphic artist, who studied at the University of Durban-Westville and Middlesex Polytechnic in London. |

| He used to lecture Printmaking and was Head of Department of Fine Art & History of Art at the University of Durban-Westville. Vedant Nanackchand currently lectures at Witwatersrand Technikon in Johannesburg. |
| His works have been included in numerous exhibitions in South Africa and overseas. His work reflects a personal reality which is essentially bound to the socio-political circumstances prevalent in South Africa today. |
