| Laila Mehreen Rahman, born in 1966, and educated in Pakistan, received a Masters degree in Printmaking from the Slade School of Fine Art in London, England in 1993. She obtained a First Class pass with her dissertation entitled "The Early development of Mughal Painting". Her work experience includes stints as artist in residence at Cartwright Hall, Bradford, England and at Hill Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge England as well as visiting lecturer in Printmaking at the National College of Arts in Lahore Pakistan in 1996 and more recently Tutor for Printmaking at the Adult and Continuing Educating Classes, Hills Road, Sixth Form College, Cambridge. |
