| Faiza Galdhari was born on 21 March 1970 and matriculated at Hillview High School, Newlands East, Durban, South Africa. She obtained a BA Fine Art degree from the University of Durban-Westville in Durban in 1992, and a MA Fine Art degree in 1999. In 1992 she was awarded the medal for best student in the Faculty of Arts. |

| In 1986 Faiza won first prize in the "Napac Dance" art competition in Durban and in 1996, she won first prize in another local competition in the Pavilion "Art Alive" Competition. Faiza Galdhari has works in the permanent collection at the Tatham Art Gallery, in Pietermartizburg, South Africa. She is also involved in several mural projects in Durban and Ladysmith in South Africa. |
